“But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that this day should overtake you like a thief.” 1 Thessalonians 5:4
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and waves roaring. Luke 21:25
Comet Hale-Bopp was visually amazing and many of its aspects were covered in the book. However, one other fact has gone unnoticed until now. It all began with an e-mail that was received two days ago that pointed in the right direction. In the back of the book all of the heavenly signs are charted and the “times” between each and important Hebrew Holidays are noted. Comet Shoemaker-Levy was one of those events.
The Shoemaker-Levy comet consisted of twenty-one pieces that slammed into Jupiter on the 9th of Av in 1994. The implications here were huge. The 9th of Av as a day of calamity for the Jews also comes twenty-one days after the 17th of Tammuz–the day that begins the three weeks of mourning. It was an obvious sign. But apparently the e-mail that was received had noticed where from the collision of Shoemaker-Levy until the Feast of Trumpets 2007 was exactly 4,800 days or 40 x 120. What was sent in was the fact that 4,800 days from Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997 (its crossing of the orbital plane on May 6, 1997) will come to June 27, 2010. Is there any significance to this? That will have to be determined later by time.
This date of May 6, 1997 was important since Comet McNaught did the same thing by also crossing the orbital plane on January 14-17, 2007, which was exactly 120 lunar months between both events. Then 120 weeks after McNaught crossed the orbital plane, it would come to May 6, 2009 (and this would mark 12 years after the crossing of Hale-Bopp–to the day). This was strangely curious since May 6, 2009 was also 70 weeks before the Feast of Trumpets 2010. That is 490 days. It is all very interesting math and please take note!
However, there was another important day concerning Hale-Bopp. That day was April 11, 1997. On this day Comet Hale-Bopp made a similar move to a previous comet because one year earlier on April 11, 1996, Comet Hyakutake had been at the same place among the stars. Both had crossed the star of Algol on this date, making an “x” with their path. The star’s name means “evil spirit” and is found in the decapitated head of Medusa (meaning “trodden underfoot”) held by Perseus (meaning “breaker of the imprisoned). In summary here, think Genesis 3:15. This is all review.
On a hunch the date of April 11, 1997 was entered into the computer along with the date of September 9, 2010–the upcoming day for the Feast of Trumpets. The time sequence was submitted, but would it yield a resulting time of interest? Remember that start and end dates are both counted. When the time flashed on the screen it was a confirmation. The result was 4,900 days or 700 weeks exactly. It would seem the April 11, 1997 date was important and for those who have the book, the weight of that time has shown its true significance.
And one final note. The writing of this article was not timed by this writer to be on May 6th!
